Here in Madrid I am slowing beginning to feel the pings of USA cravings like decent coffee, a sense of time, and flapjacks.
But I think it is a shortage of good and new music that I miss the most… I’m beginning to believe that the Spanish obsession with all things pop is not entirely healthy (though my neighborhood -roving accordion band does the best Wham! “Careless Whispers” cover…).
I’d be honored - but let me settle in just a bit more. At this point I’d only be able to write a compare/contrast on how Guatemala is a hallmark of efficiency compared to this place…. I think they work more there too….
